KITCHEN MEASUREMENT INSTRUCTIONS



If you are looking to remodel your kitchen, please follow these instructions to take accurate measurements for your design.

WHAT TO PREPARE:



Grab a measuring tape, paper, and pencil and start sketching away!



L - SHAPE





  1. Measure the length of all walls.​​
  2. Measure the width of the window with trim included

  3. Measure the length from window trim to the end of the wall.

  4. Measure the ceiling height.

  5. Measure the center of the sink to end of wall. (This will help you get to know your plumbing position.)

  6. Measure the center of the cooktop to end of wall.

  7. Measure the width & length of island if there is one.

  8. Measure dimensions of appliances:

    • ​Width of cooktop

    • Width & height of fridge

    • Width of sink

    • Width of cooktop.

  9. Draw the location of:

    • Dishwasher

    • Hood

  10. Measure the distance from countertop/appliance to any door openings.



U - SHAPE
